Requirements

• 1 year of experience with EMR systems preferred.
• 2 years of computer skills preferred.
• 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• 1 year of patient care experience required.
• 1 year of healthcare experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish speaking preferred, but not required.
• Outgoing, energetic, personable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones and addressing patient inquiries.
• Scanning and managing patient documents.
• Handling medication preauthorizations.
• Reviewing medical history with patients.
• Preparing patient paperwork and consent forms.
• Collecting urine samples for drug screenings.
• Discussing prescriptions with patients.
• Tracking Physical Therapy visit authorizations.
• Managing the EMR system (TheraOffice).
• Taking and recording patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, height, weight).
• Organizing and cleaning common areas of the clinic.
• Cross-training to cover front desk receptionist duties.
