About The Position

The Patient Care Tech position at Aiken Regional Medical Centers involves providing essential support to the radiology department, ensuring efficient patient care and service delivery. This part-time role requires working on weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays, from 7 am to 7:30 pm, and is integral to maintaining the quality of healthcare services offered by the facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical or clerical training beyond high school preferred.
• Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment).
• Knowledge of general office procedures and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Transporting patients to and from radiology services.
• Maintaining film records and assisting Radiology Technologists.
• Preparing and managing patient records to facilitate service delivery.
• Performing various support functions to enhance patient care in the radiology department.
