About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team in Murfreesboro, TN. This full-time position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Paralegal will support attorneys by preparing legal documents, conducting research, and assisting with case management, while also providing high-level administrative support.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment.
  • Experience filing documents with courts.
  • Proficiency in the use of software like Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.; experience with Practice Panther software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Assist attorneys in case preparation by organizing files and maintaining case management systems.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately to ensure all information is up-to-date.
  • Provide executive administrative support to attorneys.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met for various cases.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case status.
  • Assist in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits.
  • Maintain and manage the attorney's calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, filtering and routing information as needed.
  • Coordinate travel plans, booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Set up meeting agendas, prepare materials, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Draft emails, letters, reports, presentations, and other documents on behalf of the attorney.
  • Order supplies, manage office logistics, and coordinate with vendors.
  • Maintain discretion with sensitive or confidential information.
  • Perform various other tasks and duties as assigned.
