  • Oversee the work of the department and supervise the Mental Health biller.
  • Ensure the quantity and quality of Mental Health Staff's output.
  • Maintain, monitor, and analyze all in-house and MH County & State Reports, notifying the Director of Mental Health of any irregularities.
  • Serve as the primary conduit to Welligent, understanding all system functions and solving related problems.
  • Monitor DMH mental health contract compliance and ensure operations align with contract provisions.
  • File Cost Reports and research discrepancies between Welligent and DMH billing for prior years' cost reports.
  • Act as the primary contract liaison for contract settlements.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems.
  • Two plus years of experience in billing related to behavioral services.
  • A minimum of four years of comprehensive experience related to LAC DMH billing experience.
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience working in social services, education, mental health, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
