About The Position

Responsibilities

• Accompany medical providers during patient encounters to transcribe history and physical exams.
• Assign accurate evaluation and management codes to patient charts based on visit acuity.
• Audit physician charts and provide feedback for accuracy.
• Retrieve prior patient records, including EKGs and test results.
• Gather medical supplies for various procedures as needed.
• Attend internal/external meetings and trainings related to responsibilities.
• Meet regularly with the supervisor for supervision and feedback.
• Maintain professional behavior when interacting with staff and others.
