About The Position

The Maintenance Technician role at Baker Hughes involves maintaining and repairing various production equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machines. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance production processes and troubleshoot equipment issues. The technician will also be responsible for cross-training other maintenance employees and maintaining departmental records.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relative experience.
• Basic skills in welding/cutting torches.
• Knowledge and use of calipers/dial indicators.
• Good understanding of basic hand tools, power tools, forklifts, aerial lifts, and band saws.
• CNC Machine troubleshooting experience.
• Electrical experience on 3 PH 480 and single PH 120v, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing production equipment including lathes, mills, cranes, a/c units, welding and heat-treating equipment.
• Cross-training other maintenance employees.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting CNC machine tools, mills, lathes, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical motors, pumps, and cranes.
• Maintaining department records as required.
• Working on projects related to increased production.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints.
