About The Position

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a dedicated LSRT/MA to join our team at OnPoint Urgent Care. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, performing medical assistant duties, and conducting X-rays. The LSRT/MA will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality care and maintain operational efficiency across our urgent care locations.

Requirements

• LSRT certification and Medical Assistant training.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar job function.
• BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PACS equipment.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient chief complaint and vital signs prior to provider consultation.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring stock is maintained.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, assisting as needed.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols to protect patients and employees.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform lab tests, EKGs, X-rays, and other functions as directed by the provider.
• Orient and train incoming LSRT/MA techs on patient care duties and X-ray completion.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the entire center.
• Ensure all rooms are stocked and clean.
• Conduct daily quality control functions including X-ray, drug counts, lab testing, and equipment checks.
• Attend all staff and other required meetings.
• Ensure X-rays are sent for daily over-read.
