About The Position

The Brand Marketing Soccer Lead at Nike NYC is responsible for driving the marketplace amplification, strategy, and execution of Global Soccer priority concepts in New York. This role involves creating and managing seasonal brand plans, collaborating with various partners, and ensuring that the brand resonates with soccer consumers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the soccer landscape, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to lead multiple projects in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Soccer landscape, culture, and relationships across New York City.
  • 5+ years' experience in consumer marketing or related experience in retail marketing and/or digital brand marketing.
  • Strong written, visual, and verbal/presentation skills.
  • Digital marketing acumen and creator-led content experience.
  • Ability to balance creativity with organization in a fast-moving environment.
  • Fluency in reading consumer data and crafting measurement and optimization plans.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support and drive the development of seasonal integrated marketing plans.
  • Manage and foster collaboration throughout the Consumer Code process to engage with key cross-functional partners.
  • Compile and unpack insights from consumers.
  • Manage on-the-ground relationships in the city with key consumer, community, and grassroots soccer organizations.
  • Partner with key cross-functional team members to define, adapt, extend, and execute key experiences for consumers and members.
  • Oversee product integration into seasonal programming.
  • Manage asset development and distribution across multiple channels to ensure purposeful storytelling.
  • Pioneer new ways of unlocking an always-on grassroots soccer proposition to complement seasonal priorities.
  • Work with finance to track expenses against budgets.
