  • Perform collection and accessioning of specimens submitted to the Laboratory.
  • Enter orders for Radiology and perform full registration procedures as necessary.
  • Assist patients in navigating to various areas for diagnostic testing.
  • Provide patient care in accordance with MVRMC policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a positive image of MVRMC and communicate effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and visitors.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of working experience in a high volume Laboratory as a Phlebotomist/Laboratory Assistant required.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Vocational program/Phlebotomy Program/Medical Assistant Program preferred.
  • 3 or more years of working experience in a high volume Laboratory as a Phlebotomist/Laboratory Assistant preferred.
  • Board certified Phlebotomist/eligible with CPR certification preferred.
