About The Position

The Janitor position at Adams Place Independent Living involves maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff. Requirements

• 1 year of floor maintenance experience (marble, vinyl, carpet) is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly preventative maintenance tasks
• Replace HVAC filters as scheduled
• Clean and replace air diffusers as needed
• Replace ceiling tiles as necessary
• Change light bulbs in apartments and common areas
• Assist with move-in preparations
• Support full-time maintenance staff with various projects
• Pressure wash areas as needed
• Assist in pool and fountain maintenance as required
• Vacuum common area carpets weekly
• Clean carpets in apartments and common areas
• Maintain cleanliness of elevator floors
• Clean service hall floors
• Remove daily trash from common areas and trash rooms
• Clean and empty trash rooms daily
• Empty pet waste stations regularly
• Maintain exterior cleanliness by picking up trash
• Empty trash receptacles
• Clean sidewalk lamps
• Assist Activities and Dining with event setup and teardown
• Perform other duties as assigned
