About The Position

The IT Support Technician will provide technical support and assistance to clients, ensuring high-quality service and resolution of IT issues. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical problems, both remotely and on-site, while maintaining strong customer relationships. The technician will also assist in training new users and collaborate with the IT team to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to troubleshoot users in Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Experience with virus, spyware, and malware prevention and removal.
  • Ability to install and support standalone and shared printers.
  • Experience with installation and support of miscellaneous desktop applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage technical requests with minimal oversight.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with VOIP phone systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level I and II troubleshooting support for stand-alone workstations.
  • Track and document trouble tickets.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical problems remotely or at users' desks.
  • Assist with system and network administration as needed.
  • Monitor network health and create work-orders for user requests.
  • Ensure all help desk calls are treated courteously and resolved quickly.
  • Assist in training and orientation of new users.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to resolve user issues.
  • Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems.
  • Provide general desktop support including OS troubleshooting and printer issues.
  • Migrate user profiles and data to new systems.
  • Configure email on client and mobile devices and troubleshoot email flow issues.
