About The Position

The HR Generalist at CJ Foodville USA is responsible for providing comprehensive human resources support and administration, focusing on recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and benefits management. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the organization adheres to employment laws and regulations while fostering a positive workplace environment.

Requirements

  • More than 2 years of HR experience is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to employment, including discrimination and harassment, wage and hours.
  • Knowledge in LOA, FMLA, Workers Compensation administration, Safety, and HRIS.
  • Service-minded and outside-the-box thinkers.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual in English and Korean is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with 1095-C Forms is preferred.
  • Experience in recruiting and onboarding is required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full recruitment life cycle for all departments, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, checking references, and onboarding qualified candidates.
  • Support HR Manager in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Administer company benefits such as ACA compliance, COBRA, and provide general support for benefit inquiries.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist with strategies for recruiting, orientation, talent retention, training, and new hire orientation/offboarding.
  • Answer employee questions and address employee concerns regarding company policies, including safety and training.
  • Work closely with staffing agencies to manage temporary staff.
  • Plan corporate events, manage monthly supplies, and prepare for company meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned, such as handling 1095-C Forms.
