About The Position

The Help Desk Technician role is a remote position focused on providing desktop and laptop support, addressing break/fix issues, and assisting with application installation and configuration. The technician will also handle security-related tasks, including investigating malware alerts and facilitating user enrollment in multi-factor authentication (MFA). This position requires effective communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team to deliver exceptional service to clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional IT support experience.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10, 11 and MacOS.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 office suite.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 cloud services is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS is a plus.
  • Time management skills are crucial.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • A+ and/or Network+ certifications are preferred.
  • Experience working in a ticketing system is preferred, with Autotask experience a huge plus.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Office 365 cloud services.

  • A+ and/or Network+ certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop and laptop support, including troubleshooting break/fix issues.
  • Assist with application installation and configuration.
  • Investigate and remediate malware alerts.
  • Help users enroll in multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Document, track, and escalate tickets through the ticketing system.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation in the documentation platform.
