About The Position

The Health Center Administrator at The Orchards is responsible for the overall operation of the Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Care programs within a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). This role involves partnering with the Executive Director to manage the health center and handle special projects, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with regulations. The position offers significant opportunities for professional growth in a newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility recognized for its excellence in clinical outcomes.

Requirements

• Active Nursing Home Administrator license in California (required).
• Minimum of two to three years of management experience in health care or life care community environment.
• BS or MS degree in business, health care, hotel/restaurant management, or closely related area.
• Background in financial management, including budget preparation and cash flow management.
• Thorough understanding of federal and state laws related to community operations.
• Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with various publics.

Nice To Haves

• RCFE License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operation of the Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Care programs.
• Partner with the Executive Director in the administration of the Reata Glen Continuing Care Retirement Community.
• Assume responsibility for all community operations in the Executive Director's absence.
• Handle special projects for the Owners and the Executive Director.
