About The Position

The Golf Caddie position at the Sony Open Pro-Am involves providing exceptional customer service to golfers while assisting them throughout the course. Caddies will be responsible for carrying golf bags, offering course knowledge, and ensuring a positive experience for participants during the event.

Requirements

• Have general golf knowledge, meaning you could play or prompt another golfer.
• Be outgoing and have a customer-first personality.
• Be physically capable of carrying two bags that can weigh up to 35 pounds each while walking the length of the golf course multiple times a day.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in server, waiter, bartender, hospitality, customer service, golf retail, general retail, landscaping, sales, valet, firefighter, EMS personnel, or other outdoor or recreational roles.

Responsibilities

• Cheerfully engage with golfers and club visitors, delivering first-class customer service.
• Accompany golfers throughout the length of the course, carrying golf bags up to 35 pounds each.
• Provide course knowledge and information to golfers.
• Assist golfers with decision-making during their game.
• Calculate yardage for golfers to aid in their shots.
• Locate errant shots to help golfers continue their game.
• Maintain the course by ensuring it is clean and presentable.
• Clean clubs and golf balls for golfers.
