About The Position

Requirements

  • Five years of experience in a management role within hospitality, nightlife, or bars.
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and beverage, along with a focus on morale and culture.
  • Proactive and creative thinking with strong decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
  • Up-to-date SNHD Food Handler card.
  • Up-to-date TAM card.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and administer the activities and services of the restaurant to ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
  • Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations including guest service standards, product quality, cost controls, and overall profitability.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, professional development, counseling, and evaluations.
  • Maximize efficiency of technology systems such as Resy, Compete Radar, Micros, and Microsoft Office/Excel.
  • Monitor service and satisfaction trends, evaluate issues, and implement improvements accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote restaurant offerings and maximize revenue.
  • Recruit, interview, and train team members effectively.
  • Act as a proactive leader to identify and create organizational tools that drive efficiency and service standards.
  • Mentor and coach other leaders on the team for goal setting and personal development.
  • Ensure great guest service by maintaining accountability to service standards and fostering positive guest relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and restaurant leadership.
