About The Position

The Funding Specialist at CreditAssociates plays a crucial role in managing and executing funding transactions in accordance with negotiated settlement terms. This position requires a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in processing payments, as well as the ability to resolve payment issues through research and analysis. The role is integral to maintaining business relationships and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or higher education
• Can work 100% in-office (Monday-Friday) at our Plano location
• Intermediate math and computer skills - Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Word
• Proven organizational skills, attention to details and must have ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines in fast paced environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure and confirm payments are set up as per settlement offer terms
• Follow up and resolve payment processing issues
• Research and resolve uncollected payments
• Meet and maintain production and quality standards as set by the department
• Cultivate and maintain business relationships by following company and department policies and procedures as well as policies and procedures specific to each creditor/agency
• Communicate issues and trends as they occur to department management
• Perform other duties as needed
