About The Position

The Firearms Customer Service Representative at Rock Island Auction Company (RIAC) is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for buyers, collectors, and gun enthusiasts. This role involves building and maintaining relationships, ensuring meticulous record-keeping, and engaging in problem-solving to address customer inquiries and concerns. The position is full-time, on-site, and requires a commitment to uphold company standards for confidentiality and quality in customer interactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Two years' previous customer support experience or similar experience required.
• Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work six auction weekends per year.
• Ability to obtain and maintain active FOID card status (Illinois residents only).
