About The Position

The Fire Alarm Inspection Technician role involves inspecting, repairing, and testing fire alarm and security systems at various customer sites. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, performing maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to instruct customers on device usage and maintenance.

Requirements

• 06 Electrical License
• NICET II Certification
• Good driving record to operate company vehicle
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and test hardwired and wireless security and fire alarm control devices.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and basic network-related problems.
• Diagnose causes of electrical or mechanical malfunctions and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Record periodic electrical testing and recommend modifications or replacements for non-compliant equipment.
• Operate a company vehicle to travel to client sites for installations and testing.
• Instruct customers on proper device use and maintenance measures.
