About The Position

The Finishing Team Member at Pratt & Whitney is responsible for setting up and operating equipment, resolving process problems, and performing maintenance checks and repairs. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months plus manufacturing experience
• Technical training
• Military training experience

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate process equipment in an assigned area.
• Set up and operate basic machine tools to repair and make minor alterations.
• Read and understand blueprints and work from written and verbal instructions.
• Perform basic shop mathematics and use basic measurement instruments.
• Service and repair equipment associated with the area where problems are identified.
• Assist in the development of other team members.
• Perform administrative tasks such as completing MRP and status of work in process, conducting safety meetings, and ordering tools and supplies.
• Perform any aspect of work in assigned area to enhance personal development.
• Perform unrelated duties as may be necessary to support the needs of the facility.
