About The Position

The Executive Director for the Office of Campus Culture and Climate at Bradley University is a full-time management role focused on advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the university. This position involves strategic leadership in developing and implementing training and assessment protocols aimed at fostering a culturally competent environment. The Executive Director will collaborate with various university stakeholders to design programs that assess and improve campus climate, particularly for historically excluded populations.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Education, Education Statistics, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience developing comprehensive training for historically excluded populations.
  • Experience delivering DEI trainings in various formats.
  • Experience with assessing and evaluating claims of bias and discrimination.
  • Experience with survey design and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Experience utilizing institutional data to enhance DEI outcomes.

  • Willingness to offer trainings during weekend and evening hours.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for developing and implementing training and assessment protocols for DEI initiatives.
  • Develop a comprehensive schedule of training for students, faculty, and staff.
  • Prepare, conduct, and evaluate training activities and related initiatives.
  • Work with university leadership to develop policies for required and optional training.
  • Collaborate with various university offices to collect and analyze DEI-related data.
  • Design and implement programs to assess campus climate for specific populations.
  • Develop and implement protocols for a BIAS Incident and Response Team process.
  • Serve on university committees and perform other duties as assigned.
