About The Position

As an Entry-Level Cloud IT Specialist, you will support the team in managing cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless cloud operations. This role offers hands-on experience with major cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, while developing a deep understanding of cloud architecture and best practices. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with virtualization, networking, and server management.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are a plus but not required.
  • Extensive experience working with different operating systems, hardware, or network systems.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 or 11, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.
  • Experience using Office 365 is a plus.
  • Experience using HubSpot is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the transit, oil & gas/manufacturing/construction industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Support the maintenance and optimization of cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related technical issues and incidents.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to assist with cloud migrations and integrations.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Help create and maintain documentation for cloud processes and best practices.
  • Provide basic user support related to cloud services and applications.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cloud technology trends and best practices.
