About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Hawaii Drivers' License.
• State of Hawaii Board of Medical Examiner's License.
• State of Hawaii EMT License.
• CPR Card.
• Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for medical assistance.
• Deliver high-quality patient care and customer service within the prescribed scope of practice.
• Maintain familiarity with treatment protocols, response requirements, and quality assurance procedures.
• Comply with all state and company requirements for operating a motor vehicle.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and in accordance with company policy.
• Quickly and safely locate addresses using knowledge of number systems and street layouts.
• Ensure the unit is ready in terms of mechanical reliability, medical supplies, and cleanliness.
• Report discrepancies in vehicle or equipment standards to the Lead Paramedic.
• Complete all required documentation as per company policy.
• Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to hygiene and uniform standards.
• Attend all mandatory in-services.
