About The Position

The Director of Nursing (DON) at Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is responsible for overseeing the administration and management of Nursing Services for residents. This role includes ensuring quality standards of care, supervising nursing staff, and managing center operations in the absence of the Administrator. The position emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and a supportive work culture.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the practicing state.
• Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
• Prior experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Assisted Living (AL), or Memory Care (MC) setting required.
• Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Nursing Services to residents according to physician orders and resident needs.
• Supervise Nursing Services 24 hours a day to maintain quality standards of care.

• Assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
