About The Position

The Director of Health & Wellness (Director of Nursing) is responsible for overseeing the implementation and evaluation of care plans to ensure comprehensive and person-centered care for residents. This role involves monitoring health conditions, medication administration, and coordinating with healthcare providers, while also developing policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance and high-quality care. The director will provide training and mentorship to the healthcare team and foster effective communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required in state of practice in Illinois and Arkansas.
• LPN Licensure preferred in Illinois and Arkansas.
• LPN or LVN licensure required in state of practice in Texas and Kansas.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure preferred in Texas and Kansas.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an RN or LPN in assisted living, skilled nursing, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and evaluation of care plans for residents.
• Monitor residents' health conditions and medication administration.

• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to the healthcare team.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing healthcare services.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to improve care quality.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and make improvements to the resident experience program.
