About The Position

The Digital Print Operator position at GotPrint.com involves operating specialized digital printing machines and ensuring high-quality production of print jobs. The operator will work closely with team members and maintain a positive attitude while troubleshooting and optimizing print processes.

Requirements

• Must be familiar with Durst and/or HP Banner Printers (2000/3100/3600)
• 2+ years industry Operator experience in Digital Printing
• Must be able to set up lithographic press per job specifications including all adjustments on the press
• Must be familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Must know PC and MAC Platform and MAC-Ripping Software
• Must be able to establish color approvals on press with or without customer interactions and maintain color and print quality for production run
• Must be able to multi-task & be a team player
• Knowledge of printing terminology and practices, including layout, file conversion, and color matching
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Must be detail oriented and have strong planning and organization skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Durst printers (1 year preferred)
• Experience with HP Banner Printers (2000/3100/3600) (1 year preferred)

Responsibilities

• Run specialized jobs that run on non-traditional mediums and sizes
• Prepare/load files for print
• Observe machines in operation and make adjustments as needed
• Identify workable production solutions when troubleshooting
• Ensure deadlines are maintained and company objectives are met
• Maintain printer and inventory supplies as needed
