The Coordinator (Temp) position at Sony Music Publishing focuses on supporting the Global Copyright Administration by managing and maintaining client and song data, ensuring accurate registration processes, and assisting with various projects.   • Day-to-day entry and maintenance of International Sony & EMI affiliate client and song data.
  • Working in conjunction with registration processes, protocols, and timelines.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc GCA-wide projects including voluminous deliveries and large-scale amendment projects.
  • Receiving and processing delegated or automatically assigned deliveries via JIRA, through to completion.
  • Systematic organization, tracking, and filing of reports, deliveries, and queries via email, JIRA, and internal databases.
  • In-depth report tracking and feedback.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Experience with relational databases is a plus.
  • Strong focus and analytical abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to take initiative and ask questions when needed.
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Timely responses to emails and JIRA queries.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and communicate regularly with the team leader.
  • Familiarity with common office software (Excel, Outlook/Email, Word).
  • Experience and interest in Music Publishing Administration is a plus.
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA products and platforms.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy while handling multiple varied tasks.
