About The Position

The CLN Medical Assistant plays a vital role in the clinical team, ensuring continuity and quality of patient care. This position involves initiating patient care assessments, gathering vital signs, preparing patients and exam rooms for procedures, and providing education and support to patients and their families. The Medical Assistant is also responsible for returning patient phone calls and demonstrating the hospital's mission, vision, and values through their behavior.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a relevant healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficient with multiple EMRs and competent to work in various physician clinics.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to prioritize goals and manage time efficiently.
• Skilled in writing and maintaining records and reports.
• Knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting with direct patient care.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency response procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as a collaborative member of the clinical team to provide quality patient care.
