The Business Development Representative at STATSports is responsible for promoting and selling the STATSports Coach Series, driving growth in the US market. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, managing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, and representing the company at elite sporting events. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to the success of a leading company in GPS player tracking and analysis.

  • Develop a pipeline of customers within North America, continuously lead generating and seeking out new business opportunities and target markets.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process, conducting demos through closing out deals with team sports, colleges, and schools across North America.
  • Build strong relationships with existing clients/partners and manage account expansions with STATSports Account Managers.
  • Create and build good relationships with customers and prospects through personal contact, meetings, conference, and event attendance.
  • Help manage our overall sales pipeline by providing regular MI reports.
  • Attend sports conferences and events on behalf of STATSports.
  • Identify potential customers' needs and provide them with possible solutions.
  • Gather information regarding market trends and provide feedback to management upon which sales strategies can be formulated.
  • Bachelors Degree or above in Business, Sports Management, Sports Marketing or a closely related field.
  • Sales experience with a proven track record of hitting targets.
  • Experience of building strong relationships with clients/customers.
  • Experience using MS Excel or a CRM system in a sales reporting & tracking capacity.
  • Eligibility to work in USA.
  • Experience of working in a sales role within either sports, health and wellbeing or technology industry.
  • Previously attended industry events/conferences or sales expos as part of your job role.
