About The Position

The Behavior Technician role at Holding Hands OpCo LLC involves providing personalized support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. The position requires working in various settings, including clients' homes and clinics, to implement tailored intervention plans that promote skill development and independence. The role is part-time with the potential for full-time hours, focusing on fostering positive behavior and creating a supportive learning environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (paid or unpaid).
  • Ability to lift at least 10 pounds, sit, and run as needed.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance.
  • Comfortable commuting 20 miles or 30 minutes to client sessions.
  • Passion for working with children, youth, and young adults with developmental disabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in ABA or RBT certification.
  • CPR certification in both pediatrics and adults.
  • Experience managing a variety of maladaptive behaviors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 behavioral support to clients using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with the clinical team.
  • Collect observational data and session notes to track client progress.
  • Foster clients' growth and support them in achieving their goals.
  • Customize interventions based on each learner's skills, needs, and preferences.
