Responsibilities

• Scratch production of artisanal breads, pastries, pies, cakes, cookies, and muffins
• Management of the sourdough starter including regular feedings
• Large batch production of baked goods
• Adjustment of production based on weekly sales
• Training and development of junior bakers
• Leadership by example
• Inventory management, including keeping ingredients organized, clean, and properly rotated
• Maintenance of the bakery and its equipment
• New product development
