About The Position
The Alabama Reading Initiative (ARI) Reading Specialist is responsible for providing intensive, targeted professional development for elementary school teachers at designated schools, ensuring that all students are reading on or above grade level by the end of third grade. This role focuses on coaching, mentoring, and facilitating professional development while adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Alabama Literacy Act.
