About The Position

The SPAMbassador is responsible to interact with visitors to the SPAM Museum. Helping the visitors with interactive displays and providing information about SPAM and Hormel Foods as well as answer questions. Additionally, the SPAMbassador is responsible to care for the SPAM Museum, maintaining the appearance during hours in which it is open to the public. This position also may be required to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and opens the SPAM® Museum for visitors.
• Greets visitors to the Museum.
• Answers questions posed in the museum.
• Prepares samples for visitors.
• Will be required to do minimal cleaning/ straightening.
• Perform minor first aide in emergency situations.
• Work on a variety of Museum related projects.
• Give a 30-45 minute tour of the museum.
• Close the SPAM® Museum.
