ASRC Federal AFSS provides these services throughout all phases of the program life cycle and across the entire space systems architecture, including space and ground assets. We are seeking a Mechanical Spacecraft Technician, Associate in Kennedy Space Center, FL. Roles and Responsibilities: Strong mechanical background stemming from harness fabrication, testing, and installation. Performs a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of specific production units, developmental or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering or preproduction operations where documentation and guidance may be limited. Works from schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components. Uses standard electronic assembly tools and materials. May perform modifications, rework, and quality testing. A&P (Airframe & Power-plant) license

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 0-2 years or more of experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Strong mechanical background stemming from harness fabrication, testing, and installation.

Nice To Haves

  • A&P (Airframe & Power-plant) license
