We are seeking an experienced Principal Systems Integration Engineer to join our team working on the Kill Vehicle subsystem on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program, a critical missile defense system for our Nation. As a Principal Systems Integration Engineer, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the successful integration of complex systems, subsystems, and components to meet program requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the development, testing, and deployment of the Kill Vehicle subsystem.

  • Lead the systems integration effort for the Kill Vehicle IPT, ensuring seamless interaction between various subsystems and components
  • Develop and implement comprehensive systems integration plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, test, and operations, to identify and mitigate integration risks
  • Design, develop, and test integration solutions to ensure compatibility and interoperability of system components
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of system integration activities, including test plans, test reports, and technical notes
  • Participate in design reviews, test readiness reviews, and other program milestones to ensure integration requirements are met
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure integration activities align with program goals and objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • Expert level experience in systems integration, with a focus on space vehicle systems
  • Experience with systems engineering principles, including requirements development, design, test, and validation
  • Strong understanding of space vehicle systems, including propulsion, guidance, navigation, and control
  • Must have ACTIVE SECRET clearance prior to start
  • Experience with NGI program or similar space vehicle systems
  • Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with systems integration testing, including development of test plans and test scripts
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as MATLAB or Tableau
