About The Position

Tutors will provide Space Science support to high school students in Grades 9–12. The program will take place in person on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on January 10, 24, 31; February 7, 28; March 7, 14, 28; April 18, 25; May 2, 9, 16, 30; and June 6. Tutors will support student understanding of key concepts through structured, small-group instruction.

Requirements

  • Passion for Learning: Committed to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
  • Strong Academics: Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
  • Committed and Flexible: Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school and participate in monthly training.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work closely with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.
