About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Space Policy Analyst to join our team. You will have a strong background in policy analysis, research, and data interpretation, with a keen interest in space activities and international relations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in policy analysis or research
  • Ability to interpret complex data and policy documents
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, International Relations, or Space Studies

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in policy analysis, research, or a related field
  • Knowledge of space activities, international space law, and geopolitical trends
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Possession of excellent analytical and research skills
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on space policy-related topics, including U.S., DoD, Civil, and Commercial policy topics.
  • Gather and analyze data from various sources to support policy recommendations and strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate the potential impacts of new policies, technologies, and international agreements on Booz Allen and client space activities.
  • Analyze existing space policies or regulations to ensure Booz Allen and client compliance with new policies or regulations to address emerging challenges in space activities.
  • Understand the National Security Space Enterprise to develop and foster relationships across the enterprise.
  • Support the Booz Allen space leadership team with collaboration and engagement opportunities.
  • Synthesize research findings to support the development of policy and legal assessments of Booz Allen and client space projects.
  • Support the monitoring of legislative developments and assess their impact on space activities.
  • Focus on diplomatic and geopolitical aspects of space activities, including negotiating international agreements.
