About The Position

As a Space Planner, you will be responsible for providing merchandising analysis that supports the development of detailed category plans and strategies for upcoming category space changes and company initiatives. You will be accountable for the timely delivery of clear, concise space planning design documents that communicate merchandising strategy and category-specific details. Exhibiting a high degree of proficiency in category planning software, internal systems, and processes, you will be seen as a trusted advisor in the delivery of space productivity analysis in support of the merchandising strategy. Your role will involve delivering advanced analysis in developing a customer-centric approach to merchandising plans and partnering cross-functionally to shape strategic direction using analytical tools. You will consistently identify category opportunities to optimize productivity and proactively use problem-solving skills to mitigate risk and improve program delivery to stores. Additionally, you will actively lead process improvement efforts, make recommendations to optimize workflow efficiencies, and collaborate and communicate well across all levels of the organization while cultivating vendor partnerships that support corporate strategies. Demonstrating thought leadership on evolving concepts and business needs, you will also exhibit team leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Retail Management, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail store planning and design.
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail store planning and design (may include visual merchandising, store planning, planogramming, real estate & facilities planning, or store environment experiences).

  • Pay range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00/yr.
