Space Planner and Analyst – DLR Group, Inc. (Charlotte, NC). Support planning and design projects focused on equity, community engagement, sustainability, and resiliency, while developing robust planning and urban design analysis, diagrams, and illustrative plans. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Planning or closely related field plus 4 years’ experience in the architectural field.
  • conducting calculations based on space standards including FICM, CEFPI, OTL, ALA, NIRSA
  • collaborating on integrated design projects of scale of minimum valuation of $1 Billion
  • proficiency in Revit, GIS, AutoCAD, Qualtrics, InDesign; PowerBI, Python, and Excel; Bluebeam
  • creating and integrating advanced data models with cloud services for purposes of space planning

Responsibilities

  • write narratives
  • develop deliverables that explain recommendations and capital planning for facilities, open space, and infrastructure
  • lead and grow data-informed space planning processes and assist integrated design teams in developing, updating, and promoting firmwide protocols and standards
  • coordinate on all aspects of the project document development and delivery
  • collaborate with all integrated design project team members to produce quality work products while adhering to project schedules and work plans
