Design and develop modeling and simulation architectures for space systems, including satellite platforms, payload integration, ground systems, and orbital mechanics. Perform mission scenario modeling to analyze system performance, operational effectiveness, and capability optimization in contested environments. Utilize advanced M&S tools (e.g., STK, MATLAB, Simulink, AFSIM) to simulate mission scenarios, predict outcomes, and assess system readiness. Conduct trade studies, sensitivity analyses, and assessments to evaluate technologies, configurations, and operational strategies. Develop and implement algorithms for mission planning, situational awareness, and system optimization within a dynamic space environment. Analyze data from simulations and experiments to inform design decisions, reduce risk, and prioritize program requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate M&S solutions into program workflows and decision-making processes. Provide technical expertise for government stakeholders during reviews, audits, and program documentation submissions. Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports, visualization tools, and presentations to communicate analytical findings to program leaders and decision-makers. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, methodologies, and space operational threats to refine and advance M&S capabilities.
