About The Position

Space Domain Awareness Intel Analyst will provide analytical support, algorithm development, and modeling and simulation analysis for space protection, space threat susceptibility, directed energy analysis, and space domain awareness. Candidate will interact directly with government customers and community stakeholders. Contribute to risk and resilience assessments over a broad range of threats to satellite operations including, but not limited to, RF and optical interference and counterspace threats. Support focus areas of the department, which could include modeling and risk assessments of kinetic threats (such as debris and collision), Space Domain Awareness, and mission operations. Conduct a range of analysis using a framework of modeling, simulation and analysis capabilities including in-house, custom and commercially available/government provided modeling tools Analyze electro-optical (EO), infrared (IR), radar and passive radio frequency (RF) sensor concepts, architectures, and algorithms Provide independent assessments and lead studies with teams of analysts

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Current TS/SCI W Poly clearance
  • Demonstrated experience within the SDA and space control mission areas
  • Experience with, or understanding of, electronic warfare and directed energy effects
  • Experience in modeling, simulation, analysis, and/or algorithm development
  • Experience in at least one the following programming languages; Java, C++, Python, MATLAB, C, or FORTRAN.
  • Good interpersonal communication and briefing skills along with the ability to work independently and interact effectively with high-level government and contractor personnel.
