About The Position

Our beautiful Tierra Luna Spa has a talented team delivering calming and unique experiences to our guests with cutting edge products and offerings inspired by the local culture and surroundings. The spa has 12 treatment rooms (indoor and outdoor), indoor and outdoor relaxation spaces, a cafe, contrast bathing (a hot tub and cold plunge pool), and one of the only freestanding outdoor Halotherapy rooms where guests can boost their immunity and cleanse their respiratory system. The Spa Wellness Coordinator is responsible for supporting the coordination of spa and recreation group events by booking group reservations, managing reservations, assisting with event planning, and collaborating with sales, catering, and spa leadership teams. This role helps ensure smooth daily operations, effective communication across departments, and successful execution of group experiences, while also supporting site visits, client interactions, and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • At least one (1) year of customer service experience

Nice To Haves

  • Four (4) year college degree, preferred
  • At least one (1) year of coordinating large group events in hospitality industry, preferred
  • At least one (1) year of experience working in spa and/or fitness
  • At least one (1) year of experience with Book4Time, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination of spa and recreation group events while assisting with daily operations to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Develop and implement new processes for group bookings, ensuring clear communication across all departments
  • Collaborate closely with the Spa and Fitness Manager and Catering team to support prospective business opportunities
  • Coordinate and schedule site visits in partnership with the Sales team and Spa and Fitness Manager to drive group revenue
  • Communicate directly with clients and guests to organize and confirm group reservations
  • Assist in the planning and on-site execution of ancillary group events
  • Partner with the Sales Manager to maintain effective communication across catering, events, and sales teams
  • Manage group reservation scheduling and collaborate with Spa Leadership to ensure appropriate staffing levels for each group event including spa buy-outs, recreation activities, etc.
  • Provide support to department by assisting with phone coverage as needed
  • Participate in site visits, pre-convention meetings, and resume meetings as required
