About The Position

Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod is seeking a passionate and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our team at St. Somewhere Spa. Our spa is a tranquil oasis designed to provide guests with rejuvenating experiences and exceptional service in a relaxed, tropical atmosphere. The Massage Therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality spa treatments and therapies that enhance our guests' wellness and promote relaxation. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to guest satisfaction, and a positive attitude to ensure every guest leaves feeling refreshed and revitalized.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in wellness, massage therapy, or related field is preferred.
  • State licensure or certification in massage therapy and/or esthetics (as required).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a spa or wellness environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
  • Knowledge of spa safety and sanitation practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional spa treatments including massages, facials, body wraps, and other spa services in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough consultations with guests to assess their needs and customize treatments accordingly.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in treatment rooms, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products, treatments, and services offered at St. Somewhere Spa and recommend appropriate products to guests for home care.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
  • Assist in managing appointments and schedules to ensure optimal use of time and resources.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and stay current with industry trends.
  • Collaborate with spa management to develop and implement new treatments or special promotions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Handle guest feedback and concerns professionally and promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
