About The Position

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a full-time Spa Supervisor for the beautiful Barton Creek Resort & Spa! Directly responsible for the operation management of the Locker Rooms and staff. Assist with managing the daily operations of The Spa. Direct all efforts towards employee and guest satisfaction, the achievement and maintenance of Omni standards and profit maximization.

Requirements

  • Must speak fluent English.

  • Must be able to deal with people in a professional manner under pressure.

  • Follow all aspects of job safety.
  • Understand that the job may require bending, stooping, and lifting of materials up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the spa.
  • Assist the management team by providing them with the leadership necessary to attain their business goals and objectives.
  • Interact with guests as needed to ensure optimum guest service and satisfaction. Analyze and translate guest interactions into service and facility improvements.
  • Respond to employees and guests needs with genuine concern and a sense of urgency.
  • Assist with daily and hourly adjustments of provider schedules such as: adding or moving lunches and appointments, upgrading or changing appointments, adding or releasing providers and rectifying general spa soft issues.
  • Assist with the development of business strategies and project plans to ensure that the design and implementation of new concepts, methods, and policies and procedures relating to the Spa are aligned with company and department goals.
  • Adhere to all standard policies and procedures.
  • Instill a superior employee orientation and promote an atmosphere of teamwork.
  • Perform all employee and guest activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner at all times, maintaining a commitment to employee and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop a professional and on-going relationship with employees and guests. Discussion of internal matters of any sort with guests is not permitted.
  • Communicate thoroughly, clearly and concisely across departments and through levels within the company.
  • Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with management and employees in all Omni departments. Help achieve our common goals of maximizing guest satisfaction and profit margins.
  • Keep work area neat, clean and organized at all times.
  • Utilize excellent time management and organizational skills while balancing multiple priorities and projects.
  • Attend department meetings and Omni required training classes as required.
  • Participate actively on the Spa Management Operations team.
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards co-workers, guests and the job being performed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as directed.
  • Manage the locker room and guest areas of the spa.
  • Uphold the standards of sanitation as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate employee Kronos, benefit and general personnel record-keeping.
  • Assist with the preparation of the bi-weekly payroll information in a complete and accurate manner.
  • Provide on-going supervision of provider's schedules maximizing room availability.
  • Assist with the maintenance of shift changes and room assignments.
  • Maintain current service provider licenses.
  • Maintain training and meeting attendance records.
  • Assist with sourcing additional staff coverage for groups and special events.
  • Rectify all Resortsuite administrative issues or concerns.
  • Understand and operate point of sale.
  • Manage employee or company information by posting information in appropriate areas.
  • Move and block time off requests.
  • Maintain all Spa phone lists.
  • Maintain daily management of Resortsuite information such as: employee scheduling, balancing appointments, provider capabilities, and facility data.
  • Be available as a key point person for providers to upgrade and/or change guest's appointments.
  • Must maintain client and spa business confidentiality/privacy at all times.
