About The Position

The SPA (Stifel Pledge Asset) Servicing Associate is responsible for interacting with customers to provide general information in response to inquiries about products and services.

Requirements

  • Understand and comply with all regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively during inter-departmental and external interactions.
  • Strong knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
  • Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum Required: 0-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Minimum Required: None.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for answering customer inquiries, resolving conflicts, and communicating effectively.
  • Accurately post payments, process manual billings, and accrual adjustments accordingly.
  • Answering customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Maintain quality customer service by accurately and promptly processing loan payments, disbursements, and payoffs.
  • Images daily activity for retention.
  • Performs maintenance on clients' loans as required by documentation received.
