About The Position

The Spa and Salon Supervisor at MGM Resorts International plays a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring efficient daily operations within the spa and salon. This position involves leading staff, maintaining high standards of service, and providing personalized guest interactions to create memorable experiences.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must have 2+ years of prior relevant experience in a Spa & Salon setting.
• Currently holds or is able to obtain both a Food Handler's Card and TAM card.
• Knowledgeable in Spa & Salon services and has a passion for wellness and self-care.
• Has software experience and is knowledgeable in navigating Zenoti, Oracle, Microsoft Office, and UKG.
• Has a flexible schedule and ability to work various shifts possibly including weekends and holidays.
• Previous leadership experience and is dependable and service-focused.
• Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the implementation of policies, operating procedures, training, coaching and discipline for Spa & Salon staff.
• Maintain knowledge and adherence to all departmental policies and procedures including safety and sanitation policies.
• Provide leadership and direction to maintain and improve the guest experience consistent with the company's service standards.
• Ensure timely and professional resolution of any guest-related challenges and/or concerns.
• Provide individualized experiences by engaging with guests and personalizing recommendations to promote services, enhancements, upgrades and retail products.
• Assist with operational support by providing coverage for attendants, fitness center, or spa receptionists as needed.
• Maintain spa facilities and locker areas ensuring they are well stocked, presentable and in sanitary conditions in alignment with luxury standards.
• Assist guests in the booking of spa services via spa software, direct guests to their appointments and assist them with the use of sauna, steam, whirlpools, and other spa amenities.
