About The Position

Looking for an exciting opportunity to join a world-class team and work in one of Boston's most luxurious hotels? Look no further than the Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street Boston! We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a keen attention to detail to join our Spa team as a Spa Manager! The Spa Manager provides cutting edge advice and makes strategic and operational decisions for the department with regards to treatments and philosophies.

Requirements

  • Education in Spa management or Hospitality or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of previous employment in a related position.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel property.
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Minimum 5 years management experience in a luxury Spa.
  • Demonstrates superior knowledge of spa, wellness and holistic modalities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise management and growth of the staff of the Spa.
  • Integrate and encourage growth of spa management personnel of other properties.
  • Assist on project-by-project basis and be a source of knowledge and reference to their staff.
  • Interview, train, schedule, monitor employee performance, discipline, and complete payroll for all personnel who report to him/her.
  • Monitor the quality and timeliness of all member communication generated by the Wellness Department, including in-house collateral, promotions, mailings, Sports line articles and bulletin boards.
  • Monitor operating supply funds for the Wellness Department and generate necessary purchase requisitions.
  • Participate in all Member Fitness Committee meetings and other hotel meetings as necessary.
