About The Position

The Spa Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Spa, including the spa’s operational needs, guest service, and any employment-related issues or needs. All responsibilities should be performed in accordance with departmental, property, and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous customer service and leadership experience of a high-end spa required, two to five years of experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Spa industry required.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication required.
  • Knowledge of general health and sanitation codes.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 30 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Experience with online booking appointment system.
  • Effective leadership skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational.
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operational functions consistent with strategic plan and vision for the department and property.
  • Interview, select, train and schedule spa specialists.
  • Manage the delivery of guest service consistent with company’s and property’s core service standards.
  • Supervise Spa staff to ensure they adhere and enforce company and Spa policies and procedures as well as being alert to their duties and responsibilities.
  • Ensure client experience is proficient including bookings, payments, and consultation cards.
  • Drive team to meet and exceed agreed revenue targets through creative internal/external marketing.
  • Meeting department annual budget and be accountable for maintaining and operating within financial targets.
  • Manage customer feedback effectively to ensure continuous service and programme improvement.
  • Participate in quarterly inventory.
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
  • Practice safe work habits, and ensure all staff is practicing safe work habits including wearing protective safety equipment and following MSDS and OSHA standards.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
