The Spa Host at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino is responsible for ensuring a hospitable and efficient operation within the spa. This role involves greeting guests, providing tours, and maintaining cleanliness in various spa areas. The Spa Host will interact with guests, vendors, and management, delivering exceptional customer service and support to enhance the overall guest experience.

  • Greet guests and escort them into the spa, providing a detailed tour.
  • Service guests by handing out towels, robes, sandals, locker combinations, refreshments, and other amenities.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the spa, focusing on locker rooms, grooming areas, wet spa areas, and lounges.
  • Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive and clear speaking voice.
  • Answer questions and offer assistance to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure guests are on time for their treatments by communicating where to wait and locating them throughout the spa.
  • Follow through on guest requests and needs, completing all necessary communications.
  • Assist treatment staff with spa treatment preparation and clean up as needed.
  • Monitor guests' safety and comfort while using the spa and pool facilities.
  • Work with the Spa & Activities team to maintain harmony and a positive environment.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in spa operations preferred.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively deal with business contacts and team members.
  • Attention to detail and engaging presentation skills.
  • Ability to accurately perform basic math operations.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to deal with a variety of situations.
  • Previous spa experience is a plus.
