Job Overview: Running Y Spa & Wellness Center is seeking friendly and enthusiastic individuals to fill the role of Spa Front Desk Sales Associate. This person will help build and maintain customer relationships by offering exceptional customer service, promotion and sale of services, retail sales, and supporting the Spa team. We are looking for positive, outgoing individuals to join the team. We enjoy being of service to our guests, making sure that their time spent with us is the best part of the day. We provide a sanctuary from daily stress through rejuvenating therapies that bring our guests back time and time again. The role of the Front Desk Associate is one of the most important roles to keep the spa running smoothly! The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: General Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service to guests. Welcome and greet guests upon arrival. Assist Spa operations, including but not limited to; answering telephones and scheduling appointments, service upgrades, stocking shelves, laundry - folding and restocking rooms, reception area cleanliness and organization, vacuuming and sweeping. Coordinate promotional sales displays and actively find creative ways to market the spa. Handle any and all transactions including, but not limited to cash, credit card, room charges and gift certificates. Receive payments for goods and services and properly account for the money. Reconcile daily sales, deposits, and receipts, when applicable. Maintain a professional and clean work environment and personal appearance. Gracious and prompt client reception with point-of-sale closing and follow-through. Sharing knowledge about our services and products in order to advise guests. Complete opening and closing procedures. Receive and maintain inventory. Client management, filing, updating guest accounts and billing information. Become knowledgeable with the products retailed through onsite training. Update internal notes to keep other spa desk members informed. Must be able to accurately follow verbal and written instructions. Must be detailed-orientated and able work to well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must possess excellent listening and communication skills. Inform co-worker(s) of pertinent information throughout the shift. Ensure proper coverage when it's necessary to leave the area. Inform facility manager of any guest, or facility issues. Report all unsafe conditions immediately. Maintain a good working relationship with all departments. Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook. As a Team Member you will be responsible for maintaining key components of the brand promise. Other duties assigned by Manager.
